2014 marks the centenary of the beginning of World War I.

The City of Botany Bay and Botany Historical Trust are seeking community involvement, and support from residents, in commemorating the role of local families during World War I.

The City of Botany Bay are seeking to borrow or copy items, including photographs, diaries, and memorabilia, of Botany Bay LGA residents and servicemen from 1914 to 1918.

We are also keen to hear family stories that may be relevant.
