To celebrate The National Trust’s Heritage Week theme of ‘Journeys,’please join us for an informative talk about Sydney Airport’s history.
We’ll examine some of the fascinating events, incidents and photographs from the history of Kingsford-Smith Airport at Mascot. Our journey will begin with New Zealand aviator Joseph Hammond’s first flights from Ascot Racecourse, in a Bristol biplane, in 1911.
Afternoon tea will be served.
This is a free event, but bookings are essential.
