Port Botany and Sydney Airport are of huge economic importance to NSW. Their construction however has totally altered the once isolated suburb of Botany. Come and discover their impact by taking our self-guided tour of suburb's foreshores.
Along the way you’ll hear fascinating stories, from an octopus which was seen holding a hand grenade to the reclamation work needed to build the airport and Foreshore Road.

The City of Botany Bay acknowledges the Bidjigal and Gadigal clans who traditionally occupied the local area.
Please note stop 2 is located in a gated area which is locked at sunset. Headphones may be useful as parts of the tour can be noisy depending on the weather, traffic and activity at Sydney Airport.
